I completed comment thread with Fotu. Comment thread is going on to other peoples blog and commenting something nice about their work or blog post.

In a comment thread you should always start with a greeting. For example: Kia ora, Talofa lava. Then write a complement about their work. Lastly you have to ask a question.

SSR selfie

 I read a book about Winter thought.

The books called Toitoi it contains many stories and poems from young kids with imaginary stories.

This book was fun to read because the poem was intresting talking about the winter, and icicles.

I like this book because it contains many stories and I learnt new words.

Basic Facts Boxes

 This week I did basic facts boxes Division.

I got all answers correct , I finished under 3 minutes and 32 seconds but I think I can do better. It was hard and easy at the same time cause i was concentrating.

I like my division because I dont know how to do it so it teaches me how.

This book was fun to read because the poem was intresting talking about the ocean, rain and nature.

I like this book because it contains many stories and I learnt new words.

Typing

 I did a can-do activity called dance dancing mat. 

First I went on dancing typing mat and set up a 15 minute timer.

Next I put my finger on the home row keys.

Lastly I took a screen shot of my results and put it on a google slide and write what I needed to improve on.

I need to improve by pressing W,t and u.

Fractions

I did fractions and unit fractions by represnting it in squares and pizza slices. 

First I did unit fractions.  A unit fraction are two multiple fractions but the numerator is always one.

Next I explained unit fractions using pizza slices and squares. 

Afterwards I did fractions. A fraction is a whole divided into equal pieces. 

Lastly, I explained the fractions by using the pizza slices and squares. 

This task was hard because I didn't understand it at first but I got the hang of how t do it.

Maori Questions

 I created a slide deck about Maori Questions.

First, I did made up sentences about the maori words. I wrote it in english and Maori so people who don't understand  maori, will understand what it says.

Next, I searched for some images on google to answer the Maori questions with pictures aswell.

I enjoyed this activity because I learnt how to put diffrent maori words in sentences.

Fairy Tales

 Today I did a task called Fairy tales.

For this task we had to read a fairy tales and write down the problem, soulotion, settings, and characters.

The Fairy tale I read was little red riding hood.

I learnt how to do fractions with shapes.

First I completed the match the fractions and shade the fractions task.

Next I made my own fractions and shaded them in.

I enjoyed this task because it was fun learning how to make fractions with shapes.

 

Toitoi

 I read a book about Autumn harvest.

The books called Toitoi it contains many storied and poems from young kids with imaginary stories.

This book was fun to read because the poem was intresting talking about maizes and birds.

I like this book because it contains many stories and I learnt new words.

Basic Facts Boxes

 This week I did basic facts boxes multiplication.

I got all answers correct , I finished under 4 minutes and 7 seconds but I think I can do better. It was easy because multiplication is like adding. But I was daydreaing so next time I need to concentrate.

I like my times tables because it helps me learn them and i'd like to get a faster time.

Tuesday workouts/Fortnite dances

Today I did my Tuesday workout. The workout I had to do were Fortnite dances called Groove jam, Electro Shuffle, Fresh, Floss, The robot, Disco Fever, Flapper, Tidy and Squat Kicks.

Doing the Groove Jam made me tired, learning to do the electro shuffle was fun but hard, doing the fresh emote made me think about playing fortnite, the floss made me bored, the robot made me feel like I was dieing, the disco fever made me think about when hector was dancing on the school stage it was so fun, the flapper was weird learning, the tidy made me tired and the squat kicks made me laugh because it was funny learning.

I like this activity but I already new most of the dances but it was funny learning to do the squat kick.
