Fractions practise

A fraction is a whole thing divided into equal pieces.

A half looks like a whole thing cut into two equal pieces. A third looks like a whole thing cut into 3 equal pieces. Quarters are a whole thing cut into 4 equal pieces.

For some examples of fractions look at this slide show.

I like your fraction practise and explaining what fractions are. What fractions do you like?

    1. My favorite fraction would be quarters because it's fun folding fractions with paper. What was your favourite fraction Xavier?

    2. Thanks for the reply.
My favorite fraction is tenths because I really like cutting pizza into tenths. What was the hardest faction to do? Mine would be eighths because it’s hard to fold a paper into eighths.

    3. My hardest fraction would be tenths because I’m not sure how to fold that.
