Space suit

Today we labeled a space suit on google drawings.

Rhythm Interactive

After morning tea we went to the hall and did drumming with Johnny he used a Djembe drum and we used a Djembe drum to play the rhythm and we had to play the same rhythm back. The rhythms were hard to do but we got the rhythms right after a couple of seconds. There were instrument like claves, there was a shaker. I thought Johnny was the greatest drummer ever at our school this year.

Zoo trip

At the zoo we saw a rhino. My favourite animal was the crocodile because it has sharp teeth.

Hiwi the Kiwi

In the hall  the whole school meet a man called Mr Minstrel and a woman called Mrs Minstrel they taught us that you have to pick up there pieces of rubbish when you go to the beach. We also learnt that when you pick a fish up pick it up with a wet towel, using salt water. We learnt a song called Kai moana we had to sing along to the song we also did this song called Pukeko we also had to do actions and we did a beat to the song while Mr Minstrel was singing.

In 1930 Pluto was discovered. Then in 2015 we got
a closer look at it because the N.A.S.A went out to space.  
N.A.S.A took a picture of Pluto. Scientist have found out
that Pluto has a changing surface. N.A.S.A. found out that
Pluto has 5 moons. N.A.S.A also found out that the time taken
for Pluto to orbit the sun is around is 248 earth years. Pluto is
about 1,470 km from the sun. Clyde has been studying Pluto
for 6 years he realized that Pluto wasn't a planet. He called it a dwarf planet because it was smaller than all of the other

planets.

In gymnastics we are learning to do poses, backward roll,grapevine an the beam and front and back 

supports.

have space suits because there is no air on the moon. The
moon has light shining in it because the sun shines light in
to it. The moon has crater in it because asteroids and
meteors hit the moon. The moon is smaller than the sun.
