AGAINST THE ODDS

Three things that are important to me.

Family - because with know  family I wouldn't have a house to sleep in bed or their would be no one to help me with my school works.

School - Without school I wouldn't know maths and it helps me to speak English properly.

Having a good report - I choose having a good report because it shows your parent how hard you been working threw our the year.


This was our first activity for day 5. For this activity we have to choose three important things in our life and he have to give a reason why those three things are important to our life.

Today we did a poem about Neil Armstrong my poem has rhymes in it.

SLJ activity:3 Air rescue

This is a DLO explaining about air rescue and to help donate money to the air rescue charity, and give a huge thank to them for helping us.

Finding Nemo Film Study 2019

Today I finished a slide show about  Finding Nemo Films Study 2019 it was fun watching the real 

movie and my favourite part was when Nemo was brave and tried to get out.

                      

Week 1 Day 1 Activity 2: Family Background

L.I to create a DLO that shows your family background and your cultures
This activity is all about your family background. I have 6 different cultures (Maori, Cook island, European. Indonesian and Thailand). This was so cool because I got to show you about my culture and because I am proud. One of my favorite cultures are Irish and Filipino because I want to go there and because It seems interesting.

Week 1 Day 1 Activity 1: Setting Sail

L.I to create a DLO that shows 10 foods you will wake with you to travel the ocean wtih on a boat.
This is the very first activity for week 1 of day 1 for the summer learning journey. This is about 10 foods you will wake with you to travel the ocean with on a boat. One of my favorite and useful foods I will take with me on the boat across the sea is canned food (Baked beans or peaches inside a can). This was fun because I got to choose food and because I like survival that includes food.

Activity 3 Big Friendly Giant

L.I to create a DLO showing a drawing of the Big Friendly Giant and words that describe him.
This activity is a Big Friendly Giant Word Description and Drawing. It is about things to do with the big friendly giant. I used 10 words (Fat, Ears, Old, Big, Tall, Giant, Friendly, Mustache, Beard, Hair).  This was cool because I had fun drawing the big friendly giant and because I got to describe it to with was a bit funny.

Activity 2 Pepeha Template

This is the second activity for the teaser week day 1. This activity is a pepeha and tels us information about yourself. I talked about what my name is, my culture, my favorite food, my river, my mountain and greetings. This was cool because I could remember the things I value most about myself.

Activity 1: New Zealand Royalty

L.I to create a DLO that shows who Lorde is and explains things about her.
This week  is the summer Learning Journey Teaser week. This means it is a practice week and on the real day is the real Competition. Today I worked Giovanni to create this DLO. We talked about facts, who she is, her songs and what she likes to do and what inspired her. She is friends with Taylor Swift, which is very interesting. This is the first activity for the Teaser week.

Today we did our time tables and it was only up to 12 times tables and today I finished all my time tables it was only 7,8,9 and Mrs Kirkpatrick had to put the Sticker on a paper.

Today when I was at Pauls and Elijah we did a dance on tik tok it is called extreme hand shake we had to grab the persons shoulder and they would grab your's then we had to lean back.

Today when I was at my friends house his name is Elijah we played call of duty in his house and he won and my friend Paul lost.

Today I went to my friends house then we went to his cousin house and he has a PS4, we played fortnite we got a 15 win solo.

Today i'm going to my mum's and my baby sister will be there she know how to talk, she is only 2.

Today in class I did a maths activity. It was called What's my number ? We had to guess what the number was and we had to triple it and add 8 and get the same answer. We used Trail and Error to find the answer. We tried 9 fist but it was too big so we tried 7. It was still too big so we tried 5, we were 2 off so we tried 4. That was the right number
